OF2 Weapon Design, first texture pass!

I’m reworking the Gauss Cannon because the texture blew hard. I rebaked the normal map and it looks quite snazzy and not ugly anymore! I’ve learned a lot.
For the work asset I made I used it as an excuse to learn Xoliul’s shader:

An Update Long Needed:
Finally I have the time to post what I’m working on. My girlfriend, Molly, and I have been doing a lot of stuff in minecraft and with that plus my work and Opposing Force 2 I haven’t had much time left over at all. Anyways, This is a couple of my recent stuff.
The images are of the Synth Blaster character I created. Thanks to MenteR for the high poly sculpt. I did the base mesh, low poly, and all textures.
3 new things that I whipped up real quick for a scholarship appeal. Hopefully they don’t blow!
